It had four seasons and was aired initially at 6 P.M. and, from the end of its second season on, at 7 P.M. The show mixed science fiction and themes related to teen issues. Casi Ángeles starred Emilia Attias, Nicolás Vázquez, Mariano Torre, Lali Espósito, Peter Lanzani, Eugenia Suárez, Nicolas Riera y Gastón Dalmau. In 2008 Vázquez left the series due to personal reasons, and the third season included a new character, portrayed by Mariano Torre. The band continued touring until 2012, two years after the end of the show. Created and produced by Dick Wolf and developed by Blake Masters, it premiered on NBC on September 29, 2010, as a spin-off of Wolf's successful crime drama Law & Order. The show received a full season pickup on October 18, 2010. On January 18, 2011, however, NBC announced that it was putting the series on hold indefinitely. According to a representative of the show, the scheduling change was not caused entirely by the recent cast shake-up. The network later announced a return date for the series, April 11, 2011; and the final episode scheduled for July 11, 2011. Law & Order: LA was canceled by NBC on May 13, 2011.

It reflected the social and cultural ideologies of the 1980s and early 1990s, and many of the cases featured on the show dealt with hot-topic issues such as abortion, racism, gay rights, homophobia, sexual harassment, AIDS, and domestic violence. The series often also reflected social tensions between the wealthy senior lawyer protagonists and their less well-paid junior staff. The show was popular with audiences and critics, and won 15 Emmy Awards throughout its run, four of which were for Outstanding Drama Series.

Because later cast changes were not well-received and the public's taste changed, the show concluded a five-year run in the spring of 1981. The series continues to have a cult and pop culture following through syndication, DVD releases, and subsequent film remakes.

It drew a total of 834,000 viewers on its original airing night during its 10:00 p.m. premiere and encore airings. The episode is also tied with The Rickey Smiley Show as the TV One's No. 1 telecast among adults 25-54.
Angels in America is a 2003 HBO miniseries adapted from the Pulitzer Prize-winning play of the same name by Tony Kushner. Kushner adapted his original text for the screen, and Mike Nichols directed. Set in 1985, the film has at its core the story of two couples whose relationships dissolve amidst the backdrop of Reagan era politics, the spreading AIDS epidemic, and a rapidly changing social and political climate. HBO broadcast the film in various formats: two 3-hour chunks that correspond to "Millennium Approaches" and "Perestroika", as well as six 1-hour "chapters" that roughly correspond to an act or two of each of these plays; the first three chapters were initially broadcast on December 7, 2003 to international acclaim, with the final three chapters following. Angels in America was the most-watched made-for-cable film in 2003, garnering much critical acclaim and multiple Golden Globe and Emmy awards, among other numerous accolades. In 2006, Seattle Times listed the series amongst "Best of the filmed AIDS portrayals" on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of AIDS.

The series ran on ABC from September 22 to November 10, 2011. A remake of the original show had been in the works since 2009. Although there were going to be 13 episodes to be aired, production of Charlie's Angels ended on October 14, 2011 after airing only four episodes due to extremely poor ratings and critical reviews. It burned off three of the remaining four episodes and concluded its run on ABC on November 10, 2011. The show's critically negative reviews focused on its acting, plot, and action scenes. Charlie's Angels is currently available on DVD from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.
