48 Hours 1988

48 Hours is an American documentary television series that airs on CBS. The series has been broadcast on the network since January 19, 1988. The series airs Saturday nights at 10 p.m. /9 p.m. as part of the network's placeholder Crimetime Saturday block; as such, the series is currently one of only two remaining first-run prime time programs airing Saturdays on the major U.S. broadcast television networks, along with Univision's Sabado Gigante. The program sometimes airs two-hour episodes or two episodes in a row on Saturday night depending on the subject involved or to counterprogram other networks.

Billable Hours is a Canadian comedy series that was aired on Showcase. Set in the fictional Toronto law firm of Fagen & Harrison, the series focuses on three young lawyers struggling to balance their expectations of life with the difficult realities of building a career in law. The series debuted on Showcase in 2006 and was produced by Temple Street Productions. The second season premiered in April 2007 and was accompanied by a 10-part webisode series entitled Billable Minutes. The third season of the show premiered in October 2008. In Australia, series one, two and three were all aired back-to-back on ABC2 each Thursday at 10:30pm from 27 August 2009 and have since been repeated on a later timeslot.

Open All Hours is a BBC sitcom written by Roy Clarke and starring Ronnie Barker as a miserly shop keeper and David Jason as his put-upon nephew who works as his errand boy. It ran for 26 episodes in four series, which premiered in 1976, 1981, 1982 and 1985 respectively. The programme developed from a television pilot broadcast in Barker's comedy anthology series, Seven of One. Open All Hours ranked eighth in the 2004 Britain's Best Sitcom poll.

Due to its success, a spin-off series, Goong S, was broadcast on January 10, 2007.

72 Hours: True Crime 2004

72 Hours: True Crime was a television program that was broadcast by CBC Television and produced by Kensington Communications Creative Anarchy and Meech Grant Productions. It focused on crime, specifically on the first 72 hours after a crime is committed, a critical time period for solving it. Rather than focus on fictional crimes, as do Law & Order and other TV shows elsewhere, True Crime depicted actual crimes that occurred throughout Canada, using dramatic reenactments and documentary-style footage of crime scenes. The show was broadcast in high definition television. In 2007, CBC announced that 72 Hours was cancelled when it announced its new fall season.
